Winter isn’t a time to dread, it’s just another fashionable season to look forward to with trends that will surely up your glamour quotient. Iconic Winter 14 brings to you the best the season has to offer.
A perennial trend in the fashion world, the 60’s Mod-Monochrome is a simple color combination of jet black and pure white has an everlasting impact. The collection plays it up a little with a dash of blush pink and light grey just for a subtle yet classic finish. This non-fussy, clean take on fashion can never go wrong and you have the freedom to play it up with accessories and create a dramatic and bold statement. Consisting of modern silhouettes the key pieces you see are peplum top, color block shirts, shift dress, fit and flare, mini skirt, skater skirt, wide crop top teamed with cigarette pants. Fabrics used add to the versatility of the trends with some favorites like satin, jacquard, hints of fur and high-density georgette complimented wit checks and polka prints.
Enter the season with the dainty Fragile Floral trend inspired by the 70’s where emphasis is laid on a more relaxed silhouettes .Bow blouses, embellished shirts, day time maxi dresses,shift dresses circle, maxi and pleated midi skirts are the dominant styles to dress up in. Not a stranger on the trend charts florals this season are here to stay and in a more modern sophisticated and edgy avatar. The range is riot of fun flirty colors with mix of traditional blush pink, berry and off-white topped with an edgier navy blue and shades of grey. Staying true to the trend romantic fabrics like organza, textured crepe, lace are highlighted with blossom prints and checks as well. Men this season will also showcase a strong and spirited outlook with the Digital Sculptures trend that will tread the lines of a gothic look. A dark theme in essence, a sense of mystery surrounds the range which is influenced heavily by the dark fantasy and mythical worlds.
